About

Rachel Roy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Literature and Languages. She holds a PhD in English: Composition, Literacy, and Rhetoric from the University of New Hampshire and an MS in Publishing and a BA in English from Pace University. Rachel also holds a certificate in Feminist Studies from the University of New Hampshire. Rachel鈥檚 research focuses on rhetorics of disability and accessibility, feminist rhetorics, and the accessibility of college writing classes. Her current research examines the often-unacknowledged rhetorical skills students enact in navigating the complicated accommodation process in higher education. Rachel is enthusiastic about teaching and dedicated to accessible pedagogies.
