They may be virtual patients, but they are providing important real-world experiences for 东京热 College鈥檚 nursing students. In an effort to teach students in health-related fields to minimize medical errors 鈥� one of the nation鈥檚 leading causes of death 鈥� 东京热 students can poke and prod their way through enhanced views of the human body using simulators and other new technologies at the College鈥檚 new Health Professional Clinical Simulation and Learning Labs, situated on the Dobbs Ferry Campus. The interactive tools allow students to do what used to be done with mannequins but with the added benefit of having a lifelike virtual cadaver. Instructors can assess a student鈥檚 performance by using cameras positioned throughout the lab.
